Psv Badge Verification. The Ntsa Psv Badge or the Public Service Vehicle badge is a license that allows someone in Kenya to operate or Drive a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) in Kenya. There are 3 Major Categories of PSV Badges in Kenya :

PSV Driver application
The PSV Driver Application or PSV Driver Badge is a provision by the Government of Kenya to allow a Kenyan Driver to qualify to be able to drive a Public Service Vehicle like a Matatu or a Taxi. However this category is also classified further to Matatu drivers and Taxi Drivers. Matatu Drivers apply for Psv Badges through their respective Saccos while Online Taxi drivers or App drivers apply for the PSV badge in the PSV Ntsa Portal.
Requirements for PSV Driver Application : Must have a Valid Kenyan Driving License,Have a Valid Kenyan ID ,Must be 24 years and Above and Must have Driving classes (ABCE)or (BCEJ) or (BCED1)
PSV Conductor Application
The PSV conductor application is a Provision by the Kenyan government to enable someone to be a conductor in a Public Service Vehicle be it a bus or Matatu. Psv Badge Verification also allows you to work for a Sacco in the Matatu industry
Requirements for PSV Driver Application:The applicant must be over 18 years of age,Have a certificate of Good Conduct from the CID ,Copy of the applicants National Identity Card. Duly filled and signed application form XVII. The police must endorse the form. Also required is the official receipt of Kenya shillings 50 from the police.
Institution Driver Application Psv -Psv Badge Verification
The PSV conductor application is a Provision by the Kenyan government to enable someone to be able to drive an Institution Bus like School Bus, University Bus, Church, or any institution Vehicle. This Psv Badge Verification must be approved and issued by NTSA in order to be Valid. The driver can make the application in the NTSA Psv portal.
Taxi Psv Badge Application
This is the PSV badge for Taxis drivers, Transfer Shuttle Drivers, and all Drivers who operate the TAxi business. This type of badge can be applied through the online portal on the Ntsa website. The driver can renew the Psv badge annually through the online portal by paying the required fee of Ksh 1050.
