How to perform a Kra Pin Checker
The PIN Checker allows you to confirm whether or not a particular PIN is genuine. A genuine PIN is generated by the KRA – Domestic Taxes Department System and is in Active Status. The Information provided by the PIN Checker is limited to basic details of the taxpayer
To do a Kra Pin Checker online and to ascertain that your KRA Pin is valid you will have to head to the Itax Portal.
1.You will go to the PIN Checker section,you will click on ‘To verify PIN, Click Here
2.Put your KRA PIn on the section that is written ‘PIN’ , make sure your individual or Comapny KRA PIN is correct as indicated on your KRA PIN certificate in order to do Kra Pin Checker properly as shown in the Figure below
3.You will see the ‘Security Stamp* function where you have an arithmetic problem to solve. Make sure you have solved the math properly. This is just to prove you are not a robot and you are a real human being who is doing the procedure as shown below.
You will get the results as shown below
4.You will see the Taxpayers Details ie the Name of the Taxpayer, Date of registration, and the obligations that the Taxpayers is Registred for. This will give you the exact details of a Taxpayer
